Substantial executive home occupying an elevated position in this more established part of North Worle on the border with Kewstoke. Cosmetic updating required, but this is reflected in the sensible asking price.
We were really impressed with both the layout and the space on offer with this roomy executive home in North Worle. The property boasts an elevated position and benefits from pleasant views from the first floor rooms towards the Mendips. The location is ideal, as it is on the borders of Worle and Kewstoke, therefore there are great places for walks and green spaces right on your doorstep. Local shopping can be found in Worle High Street and North Worle District Centre, both just over a mile away. This development has a distinctly uncrowded feel and with the house backing onto Newtons Road there is a very pleasant wooded backdrop with an open outlook.
A panelled door enters into a very welcoming and surprisingly generous reception hallway. The stairs ascend from here to the first floor. There is a practical downstairs cloakroom and a connecting door to the garage. The Sitting Room boasts a feature fireplace, a walk-in bay window and plenty of elbow room. A door leads through from here into the Dining Room which has sliding patio doors leading into the garden. The kitchen is fitted with a range of white floor and wall units with roll edge worksurfaces over and tiling to splashbacks. Space and plumbing for dishwasher and space for cooker with extractor over. Door from here leads into a large Utility Room which is the same length as the kitchen. There is scope here to knock these 2 rooms into one, to form a larger kitchen, if required. Upstairs the rooms radiate from a bright central landing. There are 3 bedrooms which you would class as doubles and one very good single room. The master has an en suite shower which is stripped out ready for somebody to do their own thing. The family bathroom is particularly big and is fitted with a white suite. Outside - good size driveway to the front which accommodates 3 cars. Small lawn with shrub borders. Side access gate. The rear garden is arranged on different levels, with decent size patio area, ornamental fish pond and areas of sloping lawn. The garden is quite private and has a wooded backdrop.
